Analysis Report

I created the content analysis according to my knowledge and we finalized it collaboratively by adding additional points to it for more successful.

The following is my content analysis

  • Content Analysis

The content analysis is a research technique for systematically examining the content and dividing the large scaled subject contents or tasks into small and instructionally useful parts to further use. So we have to identify how our content must be formulated with regarding to our course objectives and goals.

During the content analysis, a content domain analysis identifies whether the main purpose of instructional content is to change the learners cognitive, emotional, or physical status. Content identification and division Subject experts identify the content of the course and measure it with the level of knowledge. After examine the result of the survey we have structured the content to cover up the general requirements of users in a progressive manner.

The course content needs to be organized in some sort of hierarchical structure, dividing the entire course into modules. Each and every module contains a series of sub topics and each of them divided into more sub topics. Optimally, we should analyze the instructional content before determining which media ought to be used to deliver the content.

During content analysis, we would analyze the type (domain) and level (sequence) of the content.

Resources
We have planned to give some knowledge about cancers. In each and every cancer type there we include an introduction about that cancer type to get to know a simple idea about the cancer. There we plan to represent the basic information on that cancer type and then the symptoms of the cancer, haw do we protect form those cancers and what are the restrictions that we have to follow, if we are a victim of the cancer type. There will be videos that will give some idea about cancers and they will help to understand the environment and the scope of the cancer by looking at the video guideline. Also we planned to include images and graphics to understand about the cancers very easily for the users of this learning course. Not only has this we will develop assessments with images such as quizzes to check whether the learner understand the real sense of the cancer learning program. Therefore we will get the support of SME to find information on cancers. Also we will use suitable media to develop this learning course effectively and attractively.

Learning Domains of Bloom’s Taxonomy Domains can be assumed as categories of user types. Above all three sections we can identify in three main learning domains. So we have to focus those three types of domain needs and our content must fulfill those three types of domains. Concerning our content Bloom's Taxonomy can be described as cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains as following.

1.      Cognitive Domain
Learners will get knowledge and the development of intellectual skills. Our learning Course will give the recall or recognition of specific facts, procedural patterns, and concepts that serve in the development of intellectual abilities and skills. The our learning course will give the learners cognitive domain engenders the higher level thinking and decision making that distinguishes the best-and-brightest from the generally skilled.

2.      Affective Domain
We let the learners to learn from the areas of emotion and feeling such how people approach to our course, cope with and comprehend attitudinal modes like appreciation, enthusiasm, motivation, and empathy. We develop this learning course to improve the individual value of users.

3.      Psychomotor domain
We develop the course to response for physical movement, and coordination such as the acquisition and application of motor skills. Development of these skills requires practice and is measured in terms of speed, precision, distance and depth-perception, and execution techniques. This learning course will achieve the psychomotor, or application learning categories encompass practical, hands-on-style competencies.
